Nicolás Montenegro, a young entrepreneur, began his business career in a town called Dénia. After finishing his secondary education at the prestigious Laude Lady Elizabeth School, Nicolás faced the crossroads of deciding his academic future. During that summer, after his graduation, he began working in the family business, “Joyería Montenegro.” One of his main tasks was engraving jewelry with a 30W fiber laser machine.

One day, upon hearing his father complain about not remembering the good restaurants he used to dine at, Nicolás came up with an innovative idea. He decided that, in addition to engraving jewelry, he could engrave logos on restaurant cutlery to help remember those special places. However, this initial initiative did not achieve the expected success.

Far from being discouraged, Nicolás chose to investigate the needs of the hospitality and hotel sectors. With this new perspective, he began designing products that better suited these industries. Seeing the growing success of these products, his father proposed that they embark on this business venture together.

Although the decision was not easy, as he had to choose between going to university or seizing the business opportunity offered by his father, Nicolás ultimately decided to embark on this adventure with him. This decision marked the beginning of an exciting business journey.

Despite his commitment to the new company, Nicolás did not stop educating himself. He continues to take courses as needed by his company to stay updated and improve his skills.

Today, the company founded by Nicolás and his father, Enrique Montenegro, has a jewelry workshop and a variety of advanced machinery, including lasers and 3D printers. Nicolás’s vision and determination have led the company to grow and adapt to market demands, establishing it as a benchmark in its sector. Following his father’s teachings, Nicolás established his first company in early 2023 in Denia, aimed at manufacturing the aforementioned items, from planters for receptions, clocks for bedrooms, amenities holders, and soap holders for bathrooms, to everything required to customize restaurant tables.
